logo-square ALEPH: the Alliance for Jewish Renewal is a worldwide effort to fully embrace a contemporary egalitarian Judaism as a profound spiritual practice and social transformer, reaching beyond religious boundaries and institutional structures. Jewish Renewal is a transdenominational approach to revitalizing Judaism.

In 2011, after six years of study in the ALEPH rabbinic ordination program, I was ordained as a rabbi by ALEPH. In 2012 I received a second ordination as a mashpi’ah ruchanit (spiritual director), also from ALEPH. I am endlessly grateful to have found ALEPH and to be part of this lineage of teachers, and to be able to work toward bringing Jewish Renewal’s gifts of enlivened Judaism to all who thirst.

From 2015 to 2017 I served with Rabbi David Evan Markus as co-chair of ALEPH. Here’s our farewell letter: Passing the Flame Forward.
